With Remembrance Day almost upon us, It’s fitting to have two Armed Forces Majors to start our Fireworks Display.

Meols Park Fun & Fireworks on Sunday 1st November 2015 from 12 noon – 7pm.        This year’s VIP Plunger is to be activated by Major Mike Huntriss and Major Nick Clarke from 2 Mercian regiment
Mike was born and brought up on Wirral, attending Calday School and served with the Cheshire Regiment for 25 years. He is proud to continues a close relationship with the Mercian Regiment and the many Wirral soldiers, past and present, who give great service in a very professional and proud infantry regiment. Nick has 5 tours of Afghanistan under his belt as well as time in Kabul at the Afghan officers school. Fireworks Display at approx 6 – 6.30pm
